fun once you get into it. Join us. INTERMEDIATE SPINNING SKILLS REQUIRED.

SPINDLE SURVEY
1 Session $35
Sunday, August 23, 1-4pm
Connie Kephart, instructor
Do you look at the spindles in shops and at wool festivals and wonder
why you might need to add that particular spindle to your collection?
This class will provide the information you need to justify those multiple
spindle purchases! We'll spin on many different spindles and we'll talk
about how and why whorls are weighted the way they are, the reasons
for and against notches, why hooks differ so much, and the pros and
cons for low-whorl, top-whorl and mid-whorl spindles.
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SPIN A CONTINUOUS THREAD ON A SPINDLE. USE OF SPINDLES
AND FIBER PROVIDED.
